Official Contest Rules

Grand Prize: A Wilds Sunset Safari (1 to be awarded):

Total Value: $577

One (1) winner will receive:

  • Sunset Safari tour for four (4) people, including dinner for four (4) people at the Overlook Cafe
  • Four (4) $25 gift certificates for the Wilds’ Gift Market
  • One (1) night accommodations for four (4) people at the Comfort Inn, Zanesville (two double rooms on same night, or one suite), including complimentary Sunday breakfast for four (4) people.

 

  • Grand Prize winner will be selected on or about Friday, August 1, 2008.
  • Winners will be notified via email or phone.
  • No substitutions of prizes may be made.
    • Package valid only for Aug. 16, Aug. 30, Sept. 6, or Sept. 13, 2008.
    • Sunset Safaris begin at 5 p .m. in August 2008 and 4:30 p.m. in September 2008.

  • Postcard entries must be received at the WBNS Studios by 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2008.

Odds of Winning:
Odds of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received.

Eligibility and participation:
No purchase or other valuable consideration required to participate. Individuals must be 18 years or older, to be eligible. Contest begins Tuesday, July 1, 2008 and concludes on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. Employees, and their immediate families, of WBNS-TV, Inc., The Dispatch Printing Company, the Wilds, their advertising agencies, affiliates and/or subsidiaries of any of the above, are not eligible to enter or win.

Award of prizes and prize restrictions:
By entering the contest in the manner described above, or by claiming the Grand Prize, The Gold Prize, Silver Prize or Bronze Prize, all participants agree to be bound by these Official Contest Rules. One entry per person.

The Wilds Grand Prize Winner, Gold Prize Winner, Silver Prize Winner and Bronze Prize Winner will be required to execute an affidavit which releases WBNS-10TV, The Dispatch Printing Company, the Wilds and the Contest sponsors from liability for any loss or damage or claim of property related to the Grand Prize Winner's, Gold Prize Winner’s, Silver Prize Winner’s, and Bronze Prize Winner’s participation in the contest and/or usage of the prize.

The Grand Prize Winner, The Gold Prize Winner, Silver Prize Winner and Bronze Prize Winner also agrees to allow his or her name and/or likeness to be used by WBNS-10TV, The Dispatch Printing Company and/or its sponsors for promotional purposes related to the contest.

If the Wilds Grand Prize Winner, The Gold Prize Winner, Silver Prize Winner or Bronze Prize Winner is not able to claim his or her prize within one week of notification, or if the Grand Prize Winner, The Gold Prize Winner, Silver Prize Winner or Bronze Prize Winner fails to provide proper identification and sign the appropriate releases, or if the announced Grand Prize Winner, The Gold Prize Winner, Silver Prize Winner or Bronze Prize Winner is determined to be an ineligible participant, then in any such case WBNS-10TV shall declare the prize forfeited, and proceed to conduct another drawing from among the remaining eligible entries.

The decisions of WBNS-10TV, The Dispatch Printing Company and participating sponsors concerning any and all matters with respect to the Wilds contest and the award of the Grand Prize, the Gold Prize, the Silver Prize and the Bronze Prize Winner shall be final. Neither WBNS-10TV nor the Wilds will be responsible for telecommunications systems malfunctions and/or failures that might impede an entrant’s ability to submit an entry, nor for late, damaged, or mis-directed mail.

The Wilds Grand Prize Winner, The Gold Prize Winner, Silver Prize Winner and Bronze Prize Winner are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes due in connection with the prize.
