Don’t let the high gas prices put a damper on your summer fun.

With 15 parks and 140 miles of trails, your Metro Parks are conveniently located throughout Central Ohio. You can even bike or walk to many of the Metro Parks.

Most parks feature scenic spots complete with tables and grills for you to enjoy and old-fashioned picnic. Afterward, you can burn off all those calories with a hike through the woods and fields and see wildlife up close.

While at the parks be sure and take in one of the many free nature programs. Your Metro Parks offer everything from full moon hikes, to wading in the creek to chasing butterflies through fields of flowers. Visit www.metroparks.net to download park maps and view our summer programs.
